The object of the Gosport Music Festival is to advance the education of the public in the Arts, in particular the Arts of Dance, Music Speech and Drama in all their branches.
The purpose is for amateurs to receive the judgement of professionals and gain from the benefit of seeing others taking part and to develop their confidence before both critical and appreciative audience.
The aim is to raise the standard of amateur performance and further public recognition.
The Festival is managed by volunteers who all have a strong belief in the educational and social value that the competition provides.

Our 69th festival...

This year's festival will be held at Bayhouse School between the 2nd and 3rd November for Speech, Drama and Senior Vocal entries and the 9th and 10th November for Junior Vocal and Instrumental entries.

The Dance Sections of the Festival will be held between the 20th and 28th October at Brune Park School.

Programmes and timing cards for the Music, Speech and Drama will be despatched towards the end of September.
